2019 Contest
2019 Crystal Senter-Brown Kindness Art & Poetry Contest
This year’s contest was made possible by a grant from Unify Against Bullying! You can support the mission of Unify by making a donation to their mission, taking a “Unify” selfie or attending their upcoming fashion show on May 18th! Children were asked “How can you show kindness to others?”
2019 Winners:
Ages 0-PreK Winner: Greysen, Age 3
I can be kind to others by waving and saying hello. But not if they are creepy. -Greysen
Ages 4-8 Winner: Elliott, Age 6
I am kind to my friends by helping my friend build his legos when he can’t build them on his own. - Elliott
Judge's note: I chose this one as the winner because it showed some diversity. And I felt like he was teaching a skill to a friend and not just doing the work for the friend.
